In this video, Caterina Minniti, MD, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, NY, briefly comments on the potential of pociredir, an inhibitor of embryonic ectoderm development (EED) that induces fetal hemoglobin (HbF) production, for the treatment of sickle cell disease (SCD). Dr Minniti notes that early data with this agent has been encouraging, and she looks forward to the results of the ongoing Phase Ib trial (NCT05169580).
