In a major announcement on Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday announced the government's proposal to revoke Article 370 and Article 35A of the Indian Constitution, which provided "special status" to the state. "To abolish Art 370 we do not need a Constitutional Amendment", says Subramanian Swamy.
